How we work

We work on a wide range of music, film, animation and installation commissions as well as our own pet projects and our successful public participation projects "Biomation" and "Upfaders"

Music Production (Commissions, Tuition, Practice Facility, Participatory Projects): Hardware and software based production systems using software to suit all levels from beginners to pro's and a mouthwatering analogue hardware studio featuring classic synths and drum machines.

DJ (Tuition, Participatory Projects, Practice Facility): Yorkshires best DJ training/practice facility includes the best equipment available and can cater for groups of up to 6 people to practice or jam simultaneously. We have Vinyl, CD, Serato, Grooveboxes, top quality scratch mixers and a wide range of music in all formats.

Animation (Commissions, Participatory Projects): We specialise in traditional stop-motion animation and have generated quite a catalogue of films now ranging from from abstract shorts to longer stories featuring many hand-crafted characters and sets. Animation is a very effective to engage wide audiences, to communicate your message and engage a wider audience as well as being accessible to all ages, making it an ideal medium for group projects.

Film-making (Commissions, Participatory Projects): We have broadcast quality capture and edit facilities and have produced many pieces for broadcast/publishing from short ads to full programmes, documentaries and films. We always look for a creative way to present the subject and strive to see every job through a fresh pair of eyes and ears so that we avoid formulaic results.

Multimedia Installations: Our diverse creative background have given us significant experince of 3D design, product design, architecture, interior design, graphic design, music production, electronics, film-making, animation, DJing, project management and other disciplines! Multimedia interactive installations call upon all our skills and experience to handle the entire project from conception to installation. In this area we aim to produce thrilling, dynamic pieces that challenge and question but that are inclusive and can be enjoyed by all. We feel that public art should be vibrant and fun - accessible and engaging general public, not just the arts community.
